The Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues to take measures towards creating a uniform case law aimed at improving the quality of justice in order to ensure a unified approach towards resolving legal issues in the courts.
A delegation led by the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev was on an official visit to Turkey on September 1-2, 2021 to attend the opening ceremony of the 2021-2022 judicial year and of the new administrative building of the Supreme Court in Ankara and the international symposium on "Excellence in High Courts of Appeal".

The “Yuksalish” competition was established by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev from 26 July 2019 to identify and support promising leaders with high-level intellectual performance and management skills in order to establish a human resources bank in the country.
The Council of Europe, the Supreme Court and the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly organized and conducted a training course on the topic of “Introduction to the European Convention on Human Rights and the European Court” under the Council of Europe HELP Program.
On 9 July 2021, the final discussions on the topical issues of administrative proceedings dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of administrative courts in the Republic of Azerbaijan were held by videoconference with the participation of judges and attorneys within the framework of cooperation between the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Bar Association.

On 24 June 2022, a delegation led by the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev took part in a seminar on the topic of "Human rights protection in the time of the pandemic: new challenges and new perspectives" in Strasbourg, France and the opening ceremony of the judicial year of the European Court of Human Rights.
