The delegation of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) has paid an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 1-8, 2014 for attending the plenary session held in Baku. During the visit the delegation got acquainted with the administrative building of the Supreme Court.

On February 17, 2014 representatives of the Assessment Mission MONEYVAL Committee of the Council of Europe, which oversees the implementation of the evaluation of money laundering and terrorist financing, met with the judges of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal of Baku and Sumgait, as well as judges of courts of first instance.
On February 7, 2014 in the administrative building of Ganja Court of Appeal was held a meeting on the results of 2013 with the participation of the judges of the Supreme Court A.Kalbaliev, A. Huseynov and F.Karimov.
The meeting was attended by the judges and employees of the Court of Appeal and representatives from Supreme Court, the chairman of the criminal board Shahin Yusifov, judge of the civil board Rashadat Agaev and judge of the administrative-economic board Khagani Mammadov.
On February 5th 2014, in the building of Supreme Court were held the meeting between the Chief Adviser of the South Caucasus office of the Department of Human Rights of United Nations Mr. Vladimir Shkolnikov, National Adviser on Human Rights Mr. Kamran Bagirov and employees of the International Relations Department and Human Rights and Public Relation Department. The initiators of the meeting were the Human Rights and Public Relations department of the Supreme Court and High Commissioner of United Nations on Human Rights.
On January 17, 2014, in Supreme Court was held a meeting in memory of the victims of the events January 20, 1990. In his speech, the Chairman of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev said that, January 20, 1990, went down in history as the heroic struggle of the Azerbaijani people for independence and territorial integrity.
