Information about the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On 19 November 2021, the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held under the Presidency of Ramiz Rzayev.
The draft decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On enforcement of judgments in administrative adjudication proceedings” was widely discussed and analyzed at the Plenum.
It was noted that in order to achieve real protection of rights through administrative courts, it is crucial to ensure the enforcement of judgments delivered by these courts. The priorities in our country are the elimination of the existing problems in the enforcement of court judgments in this area, achieving more effective and efficient legal protection mechanisms, as well as ensuring the uniformity of case law on these issues.
A decision was adopted on the issue discussed at the Plenum.
The Plenum also discussed and adopted a relevant decision on the draft decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan on monitoring the activities of the courts in connection with the implementation of the Decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 19 November 2021 "On enforcement of judgments in administrative adjudication proceedings".
