Seminar on consideration of respect for personal life and aspects of family law and of the best interests of the child in various categories of works protected by Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights
On April 27, 2019 a seminar was held in the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan on consideration of respect for personal life and aspects of family law and the best interests of the child in various categories protected by Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights for the effective application of the European Court's experience by national courts with the participation of Judges of courts included in the Baku jurisdiction, representatives of the executive power, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Center of Forensic Examination of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the Supreme Court received citizens in Sumgait
According to the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the provision of decent services to the people, having care and sensitivity of citizens’ appeals, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev held a reception of citizens in the city of Sumgait on April 18, 2019.

President of the Supreme Court visited Strasbourg
On January 25, 2019, at the invitation of the European Court of Human Rights, the delegation led by the President of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev took part in the opening ceremony of the judicial year in Strasbourg, France, with the participation of chairmen and judges of the highest judicial bodies and at the meeting on Increased Confidence in the Judiciary theme.
