Chairman of the Supreme Court held a regional meeting of judges in Shirvan Court of Appeal on November 11, 2011

The increase of effectiveness of justice as a result of concern of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, high-quality development of a new stage in the process of improving the judicial, adoption of laws based on justice and humanity as a result of successful legal and judicial reforms, bringing the human rights and freedoms to the forefront, were noted at the meeting.

Arrangement of necessary conditions for the administration of justice at the highest level in our country, including the beginning of the activity of new regional serious crimes courts and courts on administrative and economic cases, the role of the improvement of military justice system in the development of judicial activity were emphasized at the meeting.

Appropriate advice was given when important duties of the courts regarding effective secure of human rights, high responsibility of judges in that area, resolute elimination of the real reasons for the discontent of citizens were noted at the meeting.

Speaking at the event Chairman of the Shirvan Court of Appeal Mr. Gurbat Askerov analyzed the work of the courts on the basis of results of the improvements, and brought to the notice of judges positive experience gained in that ground. 

At the meeting with a useful exchange of views arguments relating to the administration of justice were put on a legal level, as well as useful discussions were held on various aspects related to the problems of the analysis.
