The Fund Of The International Juridical Cooperation attaches an importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan

On January, 14, 2010 the director of the Fund of the International Juridical Cooperation Mr. Matias Vekkerling and the head of the Fund Program Mrs. Britta Schwarz met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court Mr. Ramiz Rzayev.

During the meeting the Chairman of the Supreme Court Mr. Ramiz Rzayev spoke about the judicial system, about structure of the Supreme Court and its activity. The Chairman of the Supreme Court also spoke about the important character of the extension of judicial-legal cooperation with Germany.

The director of the Fund of the International Juridical Cooperation Mr. Matias Vekkerling stated that  their country attaches an importance to the cooperation with judicial-legal bodies of Azerbaijan, and expressed confidence that this cooperation would be mutually beneficial.

Guests from Germany familiarized with the new office building corresponding to the high status of the Supreme Court, and also with working conditions of judges. Mr. Matias Vekkerling noticed that the building had been constructed in high architectural style, and wrote his regards in the book of honorable guests of the museum of the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan Republic.

At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the Supreme Court expressed his gratitude to the director of the Fund of the International Juridical Cooperation and to the head of the Fund Program for an important meeting, for interest and attention to the judicial bodies, and wished them success in their further work.
