Students of the Harvard University met with the President of the Supreme Court

Students of the Harvard University met with the President of the Supreme Court, Ramiz Rzayev on June 5, 2013.
During the meeting the President of the Supreme Court informed the guests about the judicial system of the Republic of Azerbaijan, election procedure of judges, structure of the Supreme Court and its work. The President of the Supreme Court talked about the relationship with the European Court of Human Rights and the application of the case-law on the European Convention on Human Rights in Azerbaijan.
The President of the Supreme Court answered to the students’ questions in detail and wished them success in their lives and education.
Students of the Harvard University visited the new building of the Supreme Court, the History Museum of the Court and got acquainted with judges’ working conditions. Students expressed their satisfaction with the visit.
