The conference on the topic of “Women and children’s rights in the court practice” organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Republic of Azerbaijan and with Supreme Court of Republic of Azerbaijan took place in the Supreme Court.

     The conference on the topic of “Women and children’s rights in the court practice” organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Republic of Azerbaijan and with Supreme Court of Republic of Azerbaijan took place in the Supreme Court on April 17, 2015.  The Head of  SCFWCA Mrs. Hijran Huseynova, The Head of  Human Rights Committee  of the  Parlament  - deputy Mrs. Rabiyyat  Aslanova,  deputy Sevinj Huseynova,  Head of Department of Human Rights and Public Relations of ministry of Justice  of the  Republic of Azerbaijan – Mr. Faig Gurbanov,  judges of  Supreme, Appeal and First instance Courts have took part in the conference.  SCFWCA and Supreme Court  Human Rights and Public Relations department’s staff participated in this event.

Conference have been started with the greeting speech of the Head of Criminal Panel  Mr. Shahin Yusifov. Then word was passed to the Head of  SCFWCA Mrs. Hijran Huseynova.  Head of the Legal Support divison of  SCFWCA Mrs. Taliya Ibrahimova , state deputy Rabiyyat Aslanova and Sevinj Huseynova, Head of the Civil Panel of  the Supreme Court Mrs. Shalala  Mammadova,  Judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mrs. Gulzar Rzayeva and Mrs. Sevda Huseynova, Head of Department of Human Rights and Public Relations of ministry of Justice  of the  Republic of Azerbaijan – Mr. Faig Gurbanov have represented their ideas about the problems and ways of  the solutions of these problems.

At the final stage of the Conference participants had opportunity to express their positions and ideas.
