Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan visited the Supreme Court

On May 3, 2011 Mr. Ramiz Rzayev met with the delegation headed by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Rashidjon Kadyrov. 

Chairman of the Supreme Court noted that he was very glad to welcome the delegation headed by the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Mr. Rashidjon Kadyrov in Azerbaijan and said that there were a lot of examples of unanimity of our countries, the customs and values of which were very close to each other. Mr. Rzayev also noted that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan strengthened and developed within the scope of CIS and bilateral international organizations.  

During the meeting Chairman of the Supreme Court informed the guests about the structure and activity of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and about measures carried out in judicial-legal sphere of Azerbaijan. Chairman of the Supreme Court expressed his confidence that the visit of Prosecutor General of Republic of Uzbekistan would serve for further development of relationships between judicial and prosecutor authorities of both countries. Strengthening of useful cooperation relationships between two friendly states will reveal new perspectives for law-enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. 

Prosecutor General of Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Rashidjon Kadyrov noted that he was very impressed by the measures carried out in judicial system. Mr. Rashidjon Kadyrov spoke about judicial reforms carried out in his country, and about the activity of Public Prosecutors Office. Prosecutor General of Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Rashidjon Kadyrov noted that the mutual cooperation between two countries had a great importance and said that the cooperation would be continued in future.
Visitors from Uzbekistan familiarized with the administrative building of the Supreme Court. They visited museum of the Supreme Court, and Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan wrote his cordial regards in the Book of Memory.

At the end of the meeting Chairman of the Supreme Court expressed his gratitude to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Rashidjon Kadyrov and the members of his delegation for a special attention and interest to judicial bodies of the Azerbaijan Republic and wished them his best regards in their further activity.
