The Representatives of the World Bank visited the Supreme Court

On February 27, 2012 on a visit to our country the delegation headed by the project manager on Improving the Judicial System of the World Bank Amitaba Mukherjeen met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev. 

At the meeting the Chairman of Supreme Court spoke about the importance of appliance of the modern information technologies, in particularly about the appliance in the Supreme Court of the electronic clerical correspondence, rotation of the documents and case management system and also reception the information about proceedings via electronic informative terminals. Noted on importance of appliance in the Supreme Court modern information technologies, the Chairman of the Supreme Court told that the most important problem for the moment is development of the skills of usage of the modern information technologies among the people. 

The project manager on Improving the Judicial System of the World Bank Amitaba Mukherjeen expressed his satisfaction regarding the appliance of the modern information technologies in the Supreme Court. He underlined that in connection with the appliance of the modern information technologies in the judicial system, in project framework will be prepared new project which would provide the creation of the more improved electronic management system of the documents and the considered cases.

After getting acquainted with the administrative building of the Supreme Court the guests visited the museum of the history of the Court, electronic library and also met with the working conditions of judges.
At the end of the meeting the Chairman of the Supreme Court expressed his gratitude to the Project Manager on Improving the Judicial System of the World Bank Amitabha Mukherjee and members of his delegation for their special attention to the implementation of modern technologies in judicial system of Azerbaijan,for significant meeting and wished them success in their further activity.
