The meeting with PACE co-rapporteurs was held at the Supreme Court

The co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Jan Lidel-Grainger and Liz Christophersen visited the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 6 June 2023.
Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Çingiz Əsgərov gave detailed information to the guests about the reforms carried out in the judicial and legal system under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. He pointed out that special importance is attached to the expansion of professional relations with the institutions of the Council of Europe, as well as cooperation in the judicial and legal fields with the member-countries of the Council of Europe.
The discussions with the opinions about mutual interest issues were held during the meeting.
