A workshop was held with the participation of judges from Germany
24.10.2014, 12:3525 November of 2011, a delegation headed by Volker Ellenberger Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court of Baden Vürtemberq who were in our country for a visit to participate at the seminar on implementation of the Memorandum signed on building cooperation between the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Supreme Administrative Court Baden Vürtemberq, also on the implementation of the Administrative Legal Code and "Law on Administrative execution" in Azerbaijan, met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev.
At a meeting Chairman of the Supreme Court has declared that he was pleased to welcome judges from Germany in Azerbaijan, but also noted the need for the establishment of administrative courts in our country a positive perception of the public. The Chairman of the Supreme Court informed the German judges about the establishment of administrative courts, and their activities over the past period. He noted that in this area judges from Azerbaijan used the rich practice of German judges.
Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court of Baden Vürtemberq Republic of Germany Volker Ellenberger noted that these workshops are conducted with the financial support of the Robert Bosch Foundation, and serves to eliminate the problems encountered in the performance of the Memorandum, as well as in implementation of the Law on “Administrative Execution” and Administrative-Procedural Code. Guest from Germany pointed out that similar workshops were held with the participation of judges from the Administrative- Economic Board of the Supreme Court Azerbaijan, Baku and Sumgait Appeals Court, the Administrative Economic Court, and with the participation of judges from the Court of Appeal of Ganja, Sheki and Shirvan.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Supreme Court expressed its gratitude to the Robert Bosch Foundatin and to German judges for such a significant meeting, for the interest and attention to the judicial authorities, and wished them success in their further activity.
