Meeting with the representatives of the World Bank

On July 13, 2010 the Project Manager on Improving the Justice System of the World Bank, Mr. Klaus Deker and consultant Kler Qreer have met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mr. Ramiz Rzayev. 
 
Chairman of the Supreme Court spoke about the ongoing work in applying new information technology. Noting the importance of electronic records, circulation of documentation and information using electronic kiosks, chairman of the Supreme Court noted the importance of creating an electronic library. 

Project manager on improving the justice system of the World Bank Mr. Klaus Deker welcomed the use of new information technologies in the Supreme Court. He noted that this project will be prepared by a new project, which will cover the creation of advanced electronic systems for the application of new electronic technology to manage documents and pending cases in courts. 

The guests familiarized with the new administrative building of the Supreme Court, with the working conditions of judges, visited the museum of the history of the court and the library. 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mr. Ramiz Rzayev expressed his gratitude to the project manager on improving the justice system of the World Bank, Mr. Klaus Deker and consultant Kler Qreer for such a significant meeting, for a special interest to the judicial system of the Azerbaijan and applying new information technology and wished them success in their future work.
