Business trip of President of Supreme Court of Croatia to Azerbaijan

On the February 28, with the business trip, by invitation of President of Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Republic Ramiz Rzayev, the delegation headed by President of Supreme Court of Croatia Republic Branco Hrvatin arrived to Azerbaijan.
Delegation members headed by President of Supreme Court visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, by coming on Alley of Honorary Burial. Paid the tribute to the memory of Great Leader, by laying a wreath at his monument.
Guests from Croatia attended Alley of Martyrs. Memory of the people who gave their lifes for independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan been reversed sacredly and the flowers had been laid at their graves. Guests laid a wreath at the memorial of Eternal Flame.
The same day was held a meeting in Supreme Court with the delegation headed by President of Supreme Court of Croatia Branko  Hrvatin.
On the meeting President of Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev said that he is very glad to welcome the delegation headed by President of Supreme Court of Croatia in Azerbaijan , shared the thoughts about solidarity  and about the idea of common union of these two countries. Also was admitted about perspective expanding with this meeting for reinforcement of cooperation between these countries. President of Supreme Court underlined that the development of the established relationships between judicial-legal frame of Azerbaijan and Croatia will be not only on the bilateral cooperation level, but on the international organizations level, aswell.
 President of Supreme Court informed the guests that extension of attention to efficiency of judicial-legal measures which been conducted in republic, reflex in new structure and activity of Supreme Court. President of Supreme Court also admitted that the international legal acts, regulations of  “European Convention’s on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms” and the European Convention’s precedent right of European Court of Human Rights being discussed. Newest information technologies are used during the hearing. The judge election procedures are coordinated in according with the European standards. 
President of Supreme Court expressed with confidence that the visit to Azerbaijan of the delegation headed by President of Supreme Court of Croatia will assist to improvement of cooperation between judicial bodies these countries. 
President of Supreme Court of Croatia Branco Hrvatin told about area of activity of Supreme Court of Croatia, report and tremendous significance of cooperation between two countries. He admitted the extension in a meantime of these cooperation. 
There was exchange of views, on the meeting, related with reforms which were made in the area of establishing law-government state and judicial –legal practice.
