Meeting with the delegation headed by Minister of Justice - Prosecutor General of Republic of Georgia Zurab Adeashvili

On April  29, 2011 there was held a meeting between chairman of Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev and the delegation headed by Minister of Justice -  Prosecutor General of Republic of Georgia Zurab Adeashvili.

On the meeting chairman of Supreme Court noted that the establishment of relationships between Azerbaijan and Georgia in area of legal authorities, prosecutor authorities and judicial systems also as in other areas, has successful development within the frame of bilateral and international organizations. 

Also chairman of Supreme Court informed the guests about structure and activity of Supreme Court, and about events which were conducted lately in judicial-legal area. Chairman of Supreme Court expressed firm belief that the visit of Minister of Justice –  Prosecutor General of Republic of Georgia will serve for further development of relationships between judicial authorities and prosecutor authorities of these countries. Consolidation of mutual advantageous relationships will reveal new aspects in area of law-enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan and Georgia.  

Minister of Justice -  Prosecutor General of Republic of Georgia Zurab Adeashvili remembered the meeting with chairman of Supreme Court during his last visit to Baku in 2007, and notified that the events which has been conducted in judicial system lately, made a good impression on him. Zurab Adeashvili spoke about judicial reforms conducted in his country, also hi admitted activity of Institute of Legal Assistance in Georgia. 

Minister of Justice - Prosecutor General of Republic of Georgia Zurab Adeashvili  noted on importance of mutual co-operation between these two counties. He also noted on further development of this co-operation. 

Guests from Georgia got acquainted with the administrative building of Supreme Court. After getting acquainted with Court History Museum Minister of Justice-  Prosecutor General of Republic of Georgia wrote his wishes to the book of memory.

At the end of the meeting  Chairman President of Supreme Court expressed his gratitude to Minister of Justice -  Prosecutor General of Republic of Georgia and delegation’s members for showing particular emphasis to Azerbaijan Judicial system and Azerbaijan Prosecution, also for this important meeting and wished new success and achievements in further activity
