On May 1st, 2018, the representative of the UNHCR in Azerbaijan Mr. Furio De Angelis, met with President of the Supreme Court Mr. Ramiz Rzayev.

At the meeting were discussed the views and perspectives of strengthening judicial co-operation between the judicial authorities and the UNHCR in the field of protection of displaced and stateless persons.

There was a wide exchange of views on the implementation of the rights envisaged in national legislation and international law, including the provision of documentation and the use of notary services.
