The Chairman of the Supreme Court met with citizens in Salyan

With the President of the country Mr.Ilham Aliyev's recommendations on approaching appeals of citizens with care and sensitivity are always in the spotlight, the Chairman of the Supreme Court holds regular receipts while visiting regions in accordance with the schedule of the reception of citizens.

      Ramiz Rzayev, the chairman of the Supreme Court met with citizens in the administrative building of Salyan District Court on January 17th.

      National leader Haydar Aliyev's monument in Salyan city was visited, bunches of flowers were put in front of it showing profound respect for his memory.

      During the reception, each citizen was listened attentively and some of the issues raised in the appeals were resolved positively on the spot, the relevant officials of the Supreme Court's Office who attended in the reception were given appropriate instructions about other appeals.

      Citizens expressed their gratitude for the creation of conditions by the President of the country for reception and consideration of appeals of the city residents.   

      During the visit, the Chairman of the Supreme Court got acquainted with an administrative building of Salyan District Court, the activities of judges and working conditions.

      Later a meeting was held with the participation of the Chairman of the Shirvan Court of Appeal and judges of Salyan District Court.

      The chairman of the Supreme Court spoke about the measures taken in accordance with the implementation of the Decree by the President of the country on deepening judicial and law reforms, dated April 3, 2019, emphasized that important laws had been passed on the formation of unique judicial practice and the creation of particularly specialized courts on disputes related to entrepreneurial activity.

      Considering that the new regional administrative and commercial courts have started their activities since the beginning of this year, it was noted that judges had already been appointed to those courts according to the Decrees by the head of the country dated December 30, 2019, relevant recommendations and instructions were given for the forthcoming duties, as well as ensuring proper and timely implementation of innovations in the legislation.

      It was also stated that compliance with ethical behavior, abuse cases and preventing non-procedural relations are principal duties.
