Sanan Hajiyev - Chairman of the Civil Board of the Supreme Court has participated in the meeting of the European Association of Judges

The next annual meeting of the European Association of Judges was held in Athens, Greece on June 1-3, 2023.
The Chair of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court Sanan Hajiyev and the Chair of the Union of Associations of Judges of Azerbaijan Aladdin Jafarov participated in the event.
The issues of ensuring the independence of judges in the member states were discussed within the framework of the event. Discussions in the field of protecting the freedom of speech and opinion of judges, defining the standards of relations between the media and the judiciary also were held.
Then the European Association of Judges adopted relevant resolutions.
