Meeting in the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Republic with the head of the OSCE office in Baku

On October, 22, 2009 there was a meeting of the chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ramiz Rzayev with the head of the OSCE office in Baku Mr. Bilge Dzhankorel in the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Republic.
During this meeting, the Chairman of the Supreme Court informed Mr. Bilge Dzhankorel about judicial system of Azerbaijan, also about structure and functions of the Supreme Court and noted the co-operation between Supreme Court and OSCE, particularly with the European Court on Human Rights.
The head of the OSCE office in Baku Mr. Bilge Dzhankorel appreciated highly the measures on modernization of judicial system in Azerbaijan, and expressed hope that their cooperation would be long-termed.
The head of the OSCE office in Baku familiarized with a grand building of the Supreme Court, its museum and working conditions of judges, which impressed him very much.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Supreme Court Mr. Ramiz Rzayev expressed his gratitude to the head of the OSCE office in Baku Mr. Bilge Dzhankorel for an important meeting, also for interest and attention to judicial bodies, and wished successes in the further work.
