The President of the Supreme Court received citizens in the Guba district

According to the schedule of reception of citizens in the regions, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev received citizens from the Guba and Gusar districts in the Guba district on March 18.

Ahead of the reception, the monument to the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Guba district was visited, flowers were laid in front of it and deep respect was paid to his memory.

During the reception, each citizen was carefully listened to, some issues raised in the grievances related to the activities of the courts were duly addressed right away and relevant instructions were given to the officials of the Supreme Court on other grievances.

Citizens expressed their deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the reception of residents of the region and the consideration of their grievances.

During the visit, the President of the Supreme Court got acquainted with the administrative building of the Guba District Court, the activities and working conditions of judges, as well as held a meeting with the judges of the Guba and Gusar District Courts.

The President of the Supreme Court noted that the year 2021 marked with a number of significant events, the most noteworthy of these events being the proud celebration of the anniversary of the Great Victory by the Azerbaijani people. The President of the Supreme Court emphasized that the lands we have longed for 30 years were liberated from the occupation of the Armenian Armed Forces as a result of the Operation “Iron Fist” under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in the 44-day Patriotic War and stressed the restoration of our state borders.

Continuation of work on the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On deepening reforms in the judicial system" of 3 April 2019, which was an important part of the judicial and legal reforms in 2021, adoption of important laws in accordance with the Decree, as well as the expansion of the use of information-communication technologies and electronic case management in court proceedings had been noted.

In addition, it was noted that the introduction of written proceedings in the framework of the progressive conceptual amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure in 2021 would increase the quality of procedural documents submitted by the parties to the court, as well as prevent unnecessary delays in court proceedings.

Recommendations were made for the forthcoming tasks, including ensuring the correct and timely implementation of the current innovations in the legislation, at the same time, it was stated that compliance with the rules of ethical conduct, abuse and inadmissibility of ex parte communications are the main objectives.
