Meeting in the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan Republic with delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic Slovakia

On October, 6, 2009 there was a meeting in the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan Republic with delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic Slovakia headed by Mrs. Ivetta Matsezhkova.
During this meeting the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ramiz Rzayev spoke about the importance of the development of judicial-legal relations between member- states of the European Union. The Chairman of the Supreme Court also spoke about the reforms in judicial-legal sphere, about duties of the Supreme Court in realization of justice and maintenance of supremacy of law.Mr. Rzayev gave a positive estimation to the development of cooperation relations between the countries of Europe and Azerbaijan. Chairman also noticed with full confidence that visit of the chairman of the Constitutional Court of Slovakia Mrs. Ivetta Matsezhkova would serve to developing of the future cooperation relations between judicial bodies of both countries.
In turn, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Slovakia Mrs. Ivetta Matsezhkova stated that mutual cooperation between two countries had an important significance. She also expressed hope that this cooperation will be long-termed.
Visitors from Slovakia familiarized with a new grand building of the Supreme Court, and working conditions of judges. Mrs. Matsezhkova stated that the building had been constructed in high architectural style, and wrote her regards in the book of honorable guests of the museum of the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan Republic.
The chairman of the Supreme Court expressed his gratitude and wished the best regards to the Chairman and delegation of the Constitutional Court of Slovakia for a special attention and interest to judicial bodies of the Azerbaijan Republic.
